Autism Speaks This national organization promotes autism advocacy, research, resources and practical information for families.

CHADD Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder is a nonprofit organization that provides education, advocacy and support for individuals with ADHD.

Minnesota

Anoka County Autism Resource Guide This guide for families with a child who has autism spectrum disorder (ASD) includes information about services in the Anoka and northern Hennepin County area.

ARC Minnesota This organization offers information, advocacy and education about developmental disabilities.

Autism Society of Minnesota AuSM provides education, advocacy and support information for families that include children or adults with autism.

EIDBI Referral Form (DHS-6751S) Early Intensive Developmental Early Intervention in MN. This site is a self referral that allows the Department of Human Services to help families find behavioral support programming in Minnesota. 

Early Learning Services in Minnesota The Minnesota Department of Education provides contact information for early childhood programs throughout Minnesota.

Fraser – Autism resources for parents A resource that focuses on services available in the Twin Cities metropolitan area for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Refer a Child – Help Me Grow MN Help me Grow is a birth to 3 educational support program in Minnesota. Families can meet with an education team for early intervention through their local school district if a child with developmental differences. 

LDA Minnesota This group provides assessments, diagnosis and planning, especially for children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health MACMH provides mental health information, advocacy and education for people of all ages.

PACER This group provides individual assistance, workshops, publications and other resources to help families make decisions about education and other services for children with disabilities.

If your child has been diagnosed with a developmental disability, these Metro County Intake Case Management departments provide services and can help determine if a child qualifies for financial support under developmental disability services.
